Alberta pledges 220.2 million for city transport upgrades

Alberta government will spend 220.2 million over six years to aid urban transit and roads. Public transit gets 102.6 million, arterial roads 108 million, and 9.6 million for planning. Edmonton Calgary and smaller cities receive funds to expand rapid transit, bus lanes, and road projects while pursuing coordination between municipalities and the province.

NDP gains Quebec backing as Lewis stumps for votes

Mackasey Rejoins Cabinet Amid Campaign Shuffle

Ottawa Bryce Mackasey returned to the federal cabinet as minister of state in a surprise mid campaign move by Prime Minister Trudeau.
