Prices rise as consumer index climbs in June Ottawa
Ottawa reports June consumer price index up 1.0 point to 125.9 from 124.9 in May. Food costs led gains with a 2.2 percent rise, clothing up nearly 1 percent, and housing contributing to the higher all-items index.
