Beverly Thomson will move from Global TV to CTV to co host Canada AM in late August replacing Lisa LaFlamme who becomes CTV's national affairs correspondent. CTV News confirms while Global declined comment. Thomson, a CFTO veteran, battled breast cancer last year and inspired a Global documentary.
