In Manitoba Winnipeg Italy 28, RCMP seized three enormous stills in a crackdown on illicit liquor. Last Friday a Steneo still was found forty miles east of Winnipeg and a Melrose site near Melrose 08 miles east of here. The Melrose still on the house main floor had triple refiners and a 120 gallon boiler with coke fuel to avoid smoke. Twenty seven barrels of mash totaling 1080 gallons of spirits and forty gallons of ashina were found. occupants fled before officers arrived.
