Ex-paratrooper ends 100 mile Death Valley trek
Jean Pierre Marquant, a 28 year old French ex paratrooper, finished a seven day 100 mile circuitous hike through Death Valley. He trekked from near Stovepipe Wells to Furnace Creek, under 125 degree heat with daily water support, finishing exhausted but in good condition.
