Riders endure gruelling fifth day on open prairie drive
On a five day trek across treeless prairies riders reached Medicine Hat after an 18 kilometre leg on Wednesday and a 20 mile ride in heat. The rough trail wrecked wagons and one rider fell into a slough but escaped injury. Local cowgirl Martine Villette praised the journey while 78 year old Ralph Loosmore enjoyed a refreshing shower setup by Barry Stuber.
