Saamis site to shrink dog park area and protect history
City plans to fence four acres of the Saamis archaeological site to restrict off leash dogs while preserving a provincial historic resource. A smaller fenced area will allow dog access to Seven Persons Creek. Permits and restoration work could start this fall or next year with estimated costs around 100000 dollars.
