Drownings Reported Across Alberta
Three drownings were recorded yesterday in Central and Northern Alberta. Bruce Hunter 11 of Fort Saskatchewan drowned in the Saskatchewan river with Edmonton fire crews unable to revive him. Clifford Hornaday drowned in Battle River near Forestburg whose body was recovered but artificial respiration failed. Stewart Knight 24, bathing in Beaver river north of St Paul, drowned with body not recovered.

Private Depositors Safe From Bank Rate Cut
