A wartime desk report states German casualties have neared one million since March 21. It also notes the army station at Fismes has been burned, indicating damage to a key logistical point.
Paris reports heavy artillery activity with French gains north of Montdidier and along the Marne front. French forces retake Maitly-Raineval Sunvilerswot Anivillers and capture 350 prisoners.
