Gnome Pictures Stir Morgantown Prank Case

An undated photo release shows a garden gnome stolen from Allen Snyder of Morgantown West Virginia. A few days later he received two more photos and a letter from an unknown sender with a Pittsburgh postmark asking for bail money. Snyder says he has no idea who is behind the prank.

Standoff on Enoch Reserve Ends Peacefully

RCMP say a man shot in the leg was inside a house on the Enoch Cree reserve near Edmonton. About 20 ERT members surrounded the home and six adults plus two children exited before officers arrested a person under 18 without incident. The shooting victim’s injuries are non life threatening.

Inflation cools to 2.5 percent in June Canada
