Sewage woes tied to failed development and old pipe
Carry Drive sewer lines face a 4.5 million repair as low flow from a stalled Cimmaron project caused gas buildup and pipe deterioration. Officials say dating from 14 years ago, the expansion used oversized piping and projects beyond actual growth left the line underused. The repair follows a 2004 upgrade intended for Southlands and Holsom Road housing plans.
