Suspect ends chase with suicide after motel robbery
A coroner's jury viewed the scene near Maple Creek Sask after Charles Clark shot himself following a 9:15 p.m. robbery and kidnapping spree that started at Eastbrook Motel in Brooks. His 16 year old hostage, Marilyn Braun, escaped unharmed from the moving car before the self inflected wound.

Prison workers held hostage by inmates in Canada

Prison escapee Gaudet captured after massive police search
