Nude body found in truck after cross country chase

Harry Lorenz, a former convict, was captured after a 25 mile chase with the nude body of Mrs. Mary Tschida found in his battered farm truck. Sheriff Messehrink subdued him after a fist fight near Shakopee Minnesota. County Attorney Irwin said the slaying occurred in Dakota county. Lorenz claimed he did not remember killing her and cited drinking.

Marketing Act Now in Effect in British Columbia

The British Columbia Natural Products Marketing Act became effective today by proclamation. It covers agriculture lumbering and fisheries with minerals exempt and allows the government broad powers to regulate marketing inside and outside the province. CORBEIL Ont July 20 What was once listed as a birthmark on the left leg of Marie the smallest of the Dionne quintuplets is now confirmed to be a tumor. The growth involves two blood vessels and measures about a diameter at present time. The child is being treated.
