Toddler Escapes Window Climbs Across Roofs in Philadelphia
A 23 month old boy, Phillip Redmond Jr., climbed from a second floor window and crossed porch roofs of at least eight row houses before neighbours and a German shepherd alerted authorities. Neighbour Shavyonn Robinson grabbed the child as he nearly fell, police said. He was taken to hospital. the father said it was his fault for underestimating the child’s reach.

Local river trails reopen in Medicine Hat area
Several trails along the South Saskatchewan River have reopened after high water.
