Gasbag trial delayed after balloon failure
A 20 ton TNT gasbag test scheduled for 11 am was postponed indefinitely after the reinforced mylar balloon split during early filling at the top. No hazards occurred as personnel were evacuated. Racial violence injures scores in three cities

Gemini 10 set for space photo session amid fuel limits
CAPE KENNEDY CAPE KENNEDY AP The Gemini 10 crew John W. Young and Michael Collins won approval to pop their heads into space for a late afternoon photo but fuel shortages forced the elimination of the last two dockings with Agena 10 and trimmed 14 experiments planned for the three day mission. The crew rose after an eight hour rest in orbit reaching 476 miles. They docked with Agena 10 Monday night and will open the hatch at 6 10 p m Collins will stand halfway out to take pictures and run experiments for about an hour. Because of the fuel shortage Gemini 10 will stay docked during the space stand rather than fly near Agena 10. NASA said some program revision would occur but major projects would be saved.

France carries out second atmospheric nuke test this month
