Wheat pooling plan discussed by farmers in western Canada

Delegates from Manitoba and Alberta considered a cooperative wheat marketing system under the Dominion plan. More British Bombers Fly Over France

Nearly a hundred Royal Air Force planes took part in the second training flight over French territory. One group circled Paris Orleans and Chartres before returning after three hours. Another group headed toward Marseilles, a roughly 1500 mile trip. The crews did not know their destinations until in the air.

Imperial Airways to Launch Weekly Trans Atlantic Service

Ottawa reports Imperial Airways will start a weekly trans Atlantic service using regular flying boats. The project follows five years of study and experimental flights including Mercury and other trials. Pan American already operates on the northern and southern routes, with Imperial to alternate with Pan American on the northern leg.

Land Agreement Converts 15000 Acres for Settlement

Dr. F W Gershaw reports from Regina that a basis of agreement is reached between P F R A officials and Capada Land and Irrigation Co. Under the deal 15000 acres will be placed under water for settlement and 15000 acres of non irrigable land will go to the P F R A board near Vauxhall. P F R A engineers will survey to provide farms for about 200 families near Medicine Hat, boosting local prosperity and creating irrigation works.
