Temperature Boosts Rodeo Stock in Friday Action

The 83 degree heat lifted rodeo stock with Marty Wood winning saddle bronc at 66 points on Nine Acres while Friday added several strong showings. Rocky Rockabar faltered in steer wrestling and saddle bronc, ending his finals hopes. Dave Garstead rode a 66 point Brahma, and Ingrid Hewitt led barrel racing with 11 rides under 17 seconds. Others included Ted Vargo in bareback, Bob Francis in calf roping, and Pat McHugh in wild horse race.

Trudeau minister vows swift Rivard extradition to United States
