A wealthy Londoner signing as F.S.T. vows to subscribe to a huge victory loan, then hand the bonds to the government for cancellation. He proposes a voluntary levy on the wealthier classes to reduce national debt and save taxpayers 50 million pounds, offering one fifth of his estate.

They urge the Minister of Labor to order the board of conciliation to resume sittings. Workers are asked to boycott the electric railway, with Ottawa Electric Light Company led by similar interests.
Redecliff plans a July 19 celebration starting 9 30 am with a monster parade from Broadway west around town ending at the school grounds.
