Methanol to Gasoline Process Readied for Pilot Plant
Mobil Oil researchers unveiled a methanol to gasoline conversion using a new class of zeolites. A second larger pilot plant could produce about 100 barrels of gasoline daily, with methanol derived from coal. Costs estimated at 17 to 20 million dollars, while Canada expands oil sands funding and direction.

Airborne commander removed for anger at defence chief
