Car crashes through fence on Hatcher Drive intersection
Early Friday at about 2 15 am an unknown white or silver vehicle left 20 Street NE, ran onto a residential yard, and struck a fence at the corner of Hatcher Drive SE before fleeing. Police could not locate the vehicle. Estimated damage about 5000 dollars.

Three Escape Sleepy Collision Near Suffield
Three people escaped unharmed after a semi trailer rear ended a Dodge pickup one kilometre east of Suffield. The semi driver fell asleep, causing both vehicles to cross the median and rest on opposite shoulders. No injuries. both drivers uninjured though the pickup and trailer were damaged. Charges laid under the Traffic Safety Act for careless driving.
