Ottawa releases forecast totals for 1927 showing Canada wheat at 325.1 million bushels with prairie provinces contributing 305.1 million and other provinces 20.0 million. Oats total 389.8 million with prairie share 226.3 million. Barley 88.83 million with 71.72 million from prairies. Rye 12.17 million, flax seed 5.32 million with Manitoba Saskatchewan and Alberta at 3.21 million. Washington crops forecast include corn 2.27 billion, winter wheat 579.42 million, spring wheat 274.22 million, all wheat 853.63 million.

Auto Skid Down Bank Into River Near Winnipeg
Five Yorkton residents were injured when their car skidded off a road near Winnipeg and rolled into the Little White Sand river after a field day at Armstrong Saskatchewan.
