A telephone poll of 4 000 Albertans shows 86 percent of 2 900 adults with health problems in the last year received good or excellent care and 83 percent were satisfied with treatment outcomes. Police briefly closed Highway 2A as pickets blocked traffic while talks stalled after a vote approving a legal strike. The plant, processing about 4 000 cattle daily, faces wage demands of 65 cents an hour atop current starting pay of $8.
