Medicine Hat Woman Awarded Canada’s Order of Canada
Noreen Flanagan of Medicine Hat becomes one of 60 Canadians named this year to the Order of Canada. The former hospital administrator helped bring theatre to Medicine Hat and remains active in cultural pursuits. She will travel to Ottawa for a governor general ceremony as part of the national honors program now numbering 1 241 recipients since its 1967 inception.
