Valcourt seen drinking before motorcycle crash in Madawaska
Federal cabinet minister Bernard Valcourt was drinking at Wonder Bar in Madawaska, Maine, about half an hour before his motorcycle crash in Edmundston. A waitress described him as not appearing drunk. Valcourt, 37, suffered facial fractures and a concussion after swerving and hitting a curb then a fence around 2:30 a.m. Police said he was being pulled over for a routine check.
