Brantford July 6 a work car in charge of conductor George Williamson and motorman Ralph Smith crashed with the car they were hauling killing Williamson instantly and injuring Smith severely in an on duty accident on the Brantford and Hamilton Railway.
Toronto on July 6 reports the subscription list for the Reginn relief fund opened that morning had raised more than $4,000 by noon. The secretary conveyed the rapid early response and continuing donations.
