Judge hears conflict over custody of handicapped son

Former social worker Brian Corkum testified of abuse between Sharon and Robert during a troubled marriage and separation. The case, part of a Human Resources bid for permanent custody, follows past court orders directing surgery to drain brain fluid and involves Sunnyhill Hospital where Stephen is living. The hearing, expected to last two weeks, resumes today.
