Escapees hide in garbage truck at Drumheller Institution
Two inmates escaped Alberta's Drumheller Institution Tuesday afternoon by lying on top of a garbage truck. Leslie Wade Dickey, 38, serving eight years for robbery and kidnapping, and Gordon Rambertz, 37, serving five years for break and enter, were spotted near a field at Rosedale five kilometres east of Drumheller. RCMP say no roadblocks yet and urge watchfulness for hitchhikers while authorities search Medicine Hat area.
