Italian forces press persistent assaults against Austrian lines as French troops reinforce the front with a series of bold raids.
Rome July 3 The Palin forces pressed along the lower Piave delivering hard strokes against Austrian defences amid difficult river terrain and partial flooding as Italian and Allied actions continue on multiple fronts. The French raided Asiago plateau and prisoners were taken. German pressure near Bouzin court and Bouzin north of Albert was reported with heavy shelling and counterattacks.
Two people were killed when an explosion ripped through the Semumedie Conmans facility at Solit Roeh, located west of the city. Saraense, Peavy, and Tatbec were among the injured while others remain trapped in the ruins.
The horticultural society's show committee met at the Board of Jade rooms and discussed Stampede and exhibition matters.
