Gave His Life To Save His Friend Ponoka Fatality
Arthur Frank Lee ten year old son of Mr and Mrs James Lee died after rescuing a companion from Battle river at Ponoka Alberta. The Wolf Cubs member and Ponoka Baptist Sunday school attendee was carried by the waters after saving another boy. Funeral services were held at Ponoka Baptist church with Scouts as pallbearers and interment in Forest Home cemetery. He is survived by his parents and a younger brother and sister.
