Medicine Hat residents gathered for a 146 year Canada Day birthday event at Kin Coullee Park. Thousands wore red and waved flags while Ken Lavigne of the Canada Day Society praised national unity. Weather was warm and attendance rose through the day toward evening concerts and fireworks.
