Medicine Hat product Ryan Miller, 18, was picked 130th overall in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The Portland Winterhawks forward, the 17th Hat to be drafted, credits his parents and supporters for helping him reach the goal after a WHL path that included 16 goals and 31 points in 50 games and playoff runs.
