Largest dog seizure in Alberta SPCA history near Milk River

Alberta SPCA officers removed 201 malnourished dogs from a Milk River area property in two operations. A prior December transfer of 60 animals followed a plea from a property owner. The 10 day hold period allowed the owner time to seek return of the animals.
