Canadian educator Professor William T. MacClement born 1861

Professor William T. MacClement, a noted Canadian educator born January 29 1861 in Inverary Ontario, studied at Queen’s University and the University of Chicago. He taught ten years after graduation and served as professor of chemistry and chemical engineering at Armour Institute of Technology Chicago before becoming botany professor at Queen’s University. He authored textbooks on chemistry and botany and contributed to scientific journals.
