Mighty marathon raises charity hockey game total near Holsom Road

One Dead From Fatal Weekend Highway Crash

A 25 year old man died in a two vehicle crash outside Redcliff near the Trans-Canada Highway and Range Road 65. One truck carried radioactive material in a trailer. The other driver sustained non life threatening injuries. RCMP and firefighters responded at about 7 a.m. No name released.

Medicine Hat Folk Festival ends with three diverse headliners

The seventh annual Tongue on the Post festival closed at Medicine Hat College Theatre after side stage sets by Kat Danser Del Barber and Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra. Festival spokesperson David Gue praised the trio's contrasted styles and engaging jam sessions drew enthusiastic crowds.
