About 16 000 Montreal area nurses along with roughly 115 000 teachers and other workers are part of a broad walkout as the government presses draconian measures. The deal chain began with Cadillac Fairview selling to Leonard Rosenberg, who moved to Crown and Greyman trusts, then to Kilderkin, and finally to Saudi controlled buyers for a reported $500 million, with leases back to Kilderkin for 10 years.
City and Medicine Hat College continue negotiations to resolve a dispute over a planned cultural centre expansion but provide no details on talks progress.
