Hat man faces murder charge in Medicine Hat case
Luke Michael Boxell, 21, of Medicine Hat, is charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of 24 year old Jordan Pede. Pede was found injured at Strathcona Park and died after being flown to Calgary Hospital. Police say the homicide involved a drug trafficking dispute and involved challenges with witnesses and warrants. Boxell appeared in Medicine Hat Court and adjourned to Feb 8 as he seeks legal aid. he was arrested Jan 25 at the police station.
