Couple quit forces Stony Rapids water advisory

Residents of Stony Rapids in northern Saskatchewan boil water after the treatment plant operators, a husband and wife team, abruptly resigned. Environmental official Warren Kelly said a precautionary drinking water advisory is in force while questions arise about who operates the plant and whether chlorine residuals and required bacteriological tests are being maintained. The hamlet administrator offered no comment on the resignations.
