Man guilty of attempted murder in domestic violence case
A Queen's Bench justice found a 47-year-old city man guilty of domestic violence crimes including psychological physical and sexual abuse of his former common law spouse before he stabbed her on July 23 2013. The judge said the intent to kill was clear noting the accused called 911 admitting the stabbing and that alcohol did not negate his intent. The publication bans protect the complainant.
