Drunk man climbs chimney seeks entry in Bracebrd cottage

A 35 year old Toronto man spent five hours in a stranger's chimney after leaving a Muskoka Lakes cottage to relieve himself. He ended up at an empty nearby home and, unable to gain entry, climbed onto the roof and slid down the chimney becoming stuck. Police say he was upset and determined to get inside.

Citizen reports erratic driver leads to impaired driving charge

A 43-year-old Saskatchewan man was charged with impaired driving after a citizen notified RCMP at 6:30 p.m. Thursday about an eastbound pickup near Suffield that drove erratically. The vehicle was stopped near Bowell and charges are pending. RCMP thanked the public for reporting suspicious activity.

Roof Raised at B C Place After Collapse
