Medicine Hat students complete first computer diploma English exam
13 Medicine Hat High School students finished the English 33 diploma exam on word processors becoming the first in the city to write the written portion of the Grade 12 diploma test by computer. Derek Parker, 18, said the on screen method made the test more satisfying and faster. Alberta Education is expanding computer use in diploma exams and teachers expect more students to type in English, French and social studies exams.
