Wounded Mountie not expected to survive after casino shooting
Constable David Wynn, 42, was critically wounded at close range during a routine investigation near the Apex Casino in St Albert Alberta. Assistant Commissioner Marianne Ryan said Wynn's head wound is life threatening and unlikely to heal, while auxiliary constable Derek Bond survived his injuries. The shooter, Shawn Maxwell Rehn, 34, was found dead nearby. autopsy pending.
