Four Local Cars Reported Pilfered During Night

Police say four cars were hit by a single gang last night and urge motorists to lock vehicles. Stolen items include a tow chain from Fred Allen of 254 Seventh St, a radio aerial from B Hall of 261 Seventh St, two green plaid motor robes from Fred Appelby of 2810th St, and signal arms from H D Winter of 3610th St.

Miniature Seed Fair With Farmers Course Planned

A miniature seed grain fair with judging in four classes will accompany a one day farmers short course on Feb 29. Five prizes from 5 to 1 dollar will be awarded for each class in wheat oats barley and rye. Topics are being arranged for the course to be held in the Eagles hall with Jack Andreson among the speakers.

Medicine Hat Angling Club hosts annual smoker and meeting

About 250 members attended the Medicine Hat Angling Club event at Moose Hall on Wednesday night with guest speakers H. Bertelson and A. A. Svenson. Officers for 1952 were elected including President O. Weiss and Vice President Walter Lawson. Grand raffle winners received Bonds and cash prizes, and twenty door prizes were awarded to numerous members.

Coyote School At Bow Island Demonstrates New Control Methods

District agriculturist Jack Anderson presents coyote control measures and the coyote getter to Bow Island area farmers this afternoon. A previous session was held in Medicine Hat last November. The getter involves a cyanide device buried in the ground that releases poison when a coyote bites the bait.
