Coroner's jury found no negligence by Mayor I Bullivant after Anton Zabec 12 died when struck by a car driven eastwards by Isaac Bullivant of Medicine Hat at about 7 20 p m on January 16 1938 in Taber Alberta The victim was walking on the right side of the road and Zabec pushed clear of the vehicle before the fatal impact The driver testified lights blinded him and another car corroborated the glare.
