No new trial for Wendy Scott in 2011 homicide case
The retrial of Wendy Joy Scott on first degree murder charges tied to Casey Armstrong’s 2011 death will not go ahead. A Crown stay of proceedings was granted January 13 by a Medicine Hat Court of Queen’s Bench justice. The stay follows a similar action for co defendant Connie Oakes.
