Ottawa reports Premier King will seek the Prince Albert seat in Saskatchewan on February 15 possibly unopposed. Conservative and Progressive leaders declined to comment while gossip suggests opposition may yield to a swift Commons return and a post vote adjournment for a cabinet reshuffle and by election.

Mexico City reports summary execution of three bandits involved in a massacre that killed train passengers crew and soldiers on a Guadalajara to Mexico City route. Five bandits were captured. others executed for not revealing locations of remaining members. President Calles offers 600 pesos for each bandit dead or alive.
Adam Brown known as Hamilton's grand old man died in Hamilton in his 100th year. His daughters Mrs. Wm. Hendrie of this city and Mrs. E. R. Smith of London and grandsons Willan and George Hendrie were at his bedside. A former postmaster of Houlston, he suffered a fainting spell Thursday but rallied, and died after asking his nurse to take a letter for a friend in England.
