Medicine Hat Police enter binding arbitration over expired contract
After 18 months of bargaining the Medicine Hat Police Association and the city have moved to binding arbitration to replace the long expired collective agreement covering about 110 officers and civilian staff. Police president Stacey Kessler declined to comment on talks while city officials noted openness to a mutually beneficial deal.
