Sea Serpent Sightings Near Victoria Reappear

Victoria reports Cadborosaurus and possible kin again seen in Cordova Bay. The Hobbs family and neighbor Mrs. Wyper watched a brown head about a foot nose emerge from the water and vanish after a duck scare. Earlier sightings include Sooke and Albert Head with a horse-sized head and rising humps.

Adjourned Inquest Into Priest Death Near Brandon

A six man jury adjourned the inquest into the slaying of Rev. Alfred Quinton 44 at St Edouard Alta near Brandon after viewing the body. Three Montreal youths Claude Paquin Gerard Yvon de Tonnancourt and Guy Ferragne were charged with murder and remanded for a week. Police said robbery was motive and the priest’s wallet with about 90 dollars vanished. The body was taken to St Edouard and will lie there before funeral services at St Paul cathedral. Authorities continue to investigate backgrounds of the accused.
