Royal Canadian Mounted Police say Gordon Michaels, 33, transient farm worker, faces formal charges of rape robbery with violence and theft of an automobile in the Lomnes crime. He is to appear in police court next week after the East Bittern Lake home robbery on November 19. The theft followed a four hour hold up in which Mrs. Lomnes was assaulted twice. The gunman fled with $6 a shotgun and Lomnes’s car.
