Methanex begins a 30 million expansion at the Medicine Hat plant in Brier Park to raise methanol output about 10 percent. Crews install pilings and concrete foundations for new distillation equipment as recovery towers from a dismantled Oklahoma plant are prepared for use. Council narrows Event Centre design contenders to three
