AP Saigon US Air Force pilots downed two MiG-21s over North Vietnam today, raising this week’s MiG kills to nine and halving North Vietnam’s estimated 15 to 20 MiG-21s. One Phantom was lost 100 miles west of Hanoi but both crewmen were rescued. The remaining MiG was shot down by an air-to-air missile from a Phantom.

Warrant issued for two accountants in fraud case
Warrant issued today for the arrest of accountants Harry Wagman and William Walton on conspiring with the late C Powell Morgan to defraud Valley Farm and Enterprises Ltd of 140000 police said. Wagman and Walton were central figures in testimony before the Hughes royal commission into the 1965 collapse of Atlantic Acceptance Corp and its affiliates. George Blacklock, a Cornwall used car dealer who organized Valley Farm, testified about using Atlantic to finance cows and repossessions when farmers defaulted. The Blacklock Atlantic link began in 1956 with Valley Music and Atlantic financing juke boxes. by 1961 he planned a 850 acre dairy near Cornwall.
